History comes to your table: let's go back a hundred years and discover how people ate in Switzerland in the days before supermarkets and fridges! What did our ancestors find in their cupboards when they feared food shortages and didn't want to waste a crumb? An opportunity to open the debate on food security, to understand the true value of food and the importance of sharing.

What's the difference between yoghurt and lassi? Which spices are used in curries? Our culinary entertainers will guide you step by step as you create your menu.

Balanced diet - choosing the right nutrients!

We're walking a tightrope! Too much sugar, not enough protein, too much fibre! Putting together a healthy plate is a real balancing act! What are vitamins good for? What are starchy foods? What should we eat to grow and stay healthy? Our aim is to have fun learning about nutrition, juggling the food groups, working our way up the food pyramid and putting it all into practice in a cookery workshop! It's a challenge we're up for?
