Olivier Lepiller

Olivier Lepiller is the author of a thesis on criticism levelled against industrial food in France (late 1960-2010), a study of the origins, circulation and effects of such criticism, and of how food producers reacted. He is a researcher at the Cirad (Centre de coopération internationale en recherche agronomique pour le développement), UMR MOISA (Unité mixte de recherche Marchés, organisations, institutions et stratégies d'acteurs), focusing on eating habits in an urban environment, nutrition transition and the sustainability of innovations with regard to food, mainly in Africa, Asia and South America.
