From 1 May to 31 October 2015, the universal exhibition in Milan will showcase more than 140 countries in a single location, presenting a variety of cultures and flavours of the world. It will also provide an opportunity to discover previously unseen architectural projects designed by some of the world’s greatest architects and inspired by the different cultures of the participating countries. More than 20 million visitors are expected to attend the event, spanning a vast site of more than 1 million square metres.
For the duration of the Expo, “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” will be the core theme of debates, meetings and events organised around subjects such as education about food and nutrition and the exploitation of the planet’s resources.
