Discover our new workshop where children turn local seasonal produce into tasty snacks to take home!

Every Wednesday, our activity leader welcomes school children and their teachers to the Museum’s Junior Academy for a morning full of surprises and discoveries. Each month, a carefully selected foodstuff is used to create a variety of sweet and savoury finger food to take home. Herbs, flowers and even roots are all a great excuse to develop children’s culinary imagination and introduce them to seasonal produce.

Blinis originate in Eastern countries and are now making their way to the Alimentarium. Discover their history, their particularities, the best way to garnish them and, most importantly, what they taste like!
