Jars for justice

Griottes au Kirsh 2.jpg
When a duo of Vaudois comediennes joins forces with a compassionate chef, cooking becomes a means to fight violence against children.

Time for a little story?

Once upon a time, there were Les Sissi’s, aka Sylvie Berney-Grobéty and Sylvie Galuppo, who had a keen eye for the Vaudois habits that make our region what it is. Then, one fine day, they bumped into Philippe Ligron, a chef, teacher and popular face in the media. They hit it off so well that they decided to work together to help Patouch, an association committed to combat child abuse. Together, they created the ‘Sour cherries in kirsch’ workshop, where you can make your own juicy preserves alongside both Sylvie’s on Saturday 17 August. Discover their unique recipe and a bundle of laughs, all for a good cause, as all proceeds from the workshops will be donated to Patouch.

If you’re wondering why on earth we chose sour cherries in kirsch, watch Les Sissi’s
